Disease
Disease is horrible, stealing loved ones from caring families, breaking hearts and dreams and destroying lives forever. From as small as the common cold to things like cancer, autoimmune disease, other terminal or life altering illness. Disease has no favorites when it strikes. People all around the world fear at the idea of it, humbling even the strongest of wills
Care for the sick
Care for the sick means helping those with disease and illness. Provide support, prayer, care and your time with them. Showing a hurting person they are not alone goes distances for a person heart to feel hope and joy. Showing up for people when they are at their lowest shows the love of Christ and inspires. We can also help by providing resources for medication, medical help and education on treatment and health stability through the church, volunteers or other helpful groups
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received! Matthew 10:8
