Poverty

Poverty is "The lack of" in simple terms. Poverty can be the lack of money or lack of stuff, lack of the essentials. like food, clothing, shelter, transportation. The lack of family or hope. Poverty is damaging to any nation becuase it take its people and makes them struggle for the next day. Takes their minds and fear if they will be fine in the futre and steals thier hope. it leads to fustration and hurt and in poverty if you dont have a strong fountion to set you view of life on you at times can only see dreed

Assist the poor

Assiting the poor is not alwasy just giving moeny to people or saying " Ill pray for you". its showing you care through thought and action. The church provides help in finding reouses to help them leave thier struggling situations. Take time to know them and share the hope that Jesus offers.

1 John 3:17-18 (ESV): "But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?"

Galatians 2:10 (NIV): "All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I had been eager to do all along."

James 2:15-16 (NIV): "Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?"
