Self centered leadership is whenever a governing body takes advantage, manipulates or harms people of their communities for personal or political gain. For example the pharisees are a a self serving group because they used their religious and political status to control and glorify themselves above the people they are supposed to be helping This is obviously horrible because the people being harmed and taken advantage of struggle because of the selfishness of people that take pride and control and desire as their life stlyes leaving the people under them broken, and hurting. Left hopeless for change and desiring freedom.
